Tomix 8738 N Taki 5450 type (Nippon Oil Transport)

The Taki 5450 type is a 25-ton tank car dedicated to liquefied chlorine, and by 1994, over 600 cars had been produced.

The later group had modified bogies and the detention brakes changed from side brakes to hand brakes.

Cars compatible with rail ferry transport had sealed hatches and liquid caustic soda boxes installed, and were marked "(for sea transport)", but after the ferry was abolished, the markings were removed.

Nippon Oil Transportation's Taki 5450 was marked with the company's logo and name.
